{"id":"waterbodems:structure","title":"Structuur","description":"Het uitzicht van een natuurlijke beek wordt bepaald door een aantal structuurkenmerken die van levensbelang zijn voor dieren en planten in en om de beek. Voor het beoordelen van een waterloop met betrekking tot de structuur werd gebruik gemaakt van de aanwezigheid van de volgende kenmerken: meandering, stroom-kuilen patroon (afwisseling van diepe en ondiepe plaatsen) en de aanwezigheid van holle oevers. De combinatie van de drie kenmerken geeft een maat voor de morfologische variatie en dus zelfreinigend vermogen van de waterloop. De structuurkenmerken worden opgedeeld in volgende klassen: zeer waardevol (B1, S1, R1); waardevol (B2, S2, R2); matig (B3, S3, R3); slecht (B4, S4, R4); zeer slecht (B5, S5, R5); kanaal (kan); drooggevallen (drg, polderwaterloop); geen gegevens (gi).
